Unafraid to Give God Praise

This past week I had the honor of preaching at my home church David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Austin, TX. I taught from Luke 17:11-19 when Jesus is approached by ten lepers seeking healing. He tells them to go show themselves to the priests and while they were on their way…they were healed. Nine of the ten continued on their way to show themselves to the priests, but one of the men turned back and praised God with a loud voice. He laid on his face at Jesus’s feet and gave him thanks. He didn’t care about what the other 9 did and he didn’t care who saw him on his face praising Jesus…he was unafraid to give Him the praise He deserved.

This holiday season, I encourage us all…instead of focusing on the things we are grateful for, let’s praise and worship Jesus, our Lord and Savior, the One who has provided all the things. I hope this message is a blessing to you. 🙂
