My Call to Ministry

I’ve always known that God was calling me to help others, but I had no idea that call would eventually develop into vocational ministry. After earning a degree in Social Work in 2006 from Texas Christian University, I worked as a Social Worker in Austin for 3 years. I started to sense that God wanted me to do more, and after a year of prayer I finally discerned my call to ministry. In January 2010 I entered George W. Truett Theological Seminary. In September 2014 I preached my Trial Sermon and became a Licensed Minister.

It took me a while to fully understand and realize exactly what God is calling me to do in ministry, but in the winter of 2011 he gave me the vision for a ministry that would seek to help provide restoration and healing for girls and women who have been abused as well as provide mentoring and covenant sisterhood groups for women of all ages, races, backgrounds, and denominations. 31:21 seeks to nurture the spiritual growth of all women so we can strive to be Proverbs 31 women in the 21st century. I do not know all God has in store, but I am excited to be used for his glory!
